Asuene and Manufacture 2030 sign MoU to accelerate global carbon emissions reduction
Asuene and Manufacture 2030 partner to accelerate global supply chain decarbonization through platform integration, Scope 3 data collaboration, and regional expertise.
London, UK and Tokyo, Japan – 8 July 2025
Manufacture 2030 has signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) with climate tech company, Asuene Inc., to jointly accelerate greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions reduction across global supply chains. The partnership will strengthen Scope 3 data integration and expand the range of decarbonization solutions, supporting emissions measurement and reduction worldwide.
Partnering to scale supply chain decarbonization
As global momentum to decarbonize business operations increases, especially across Europe and Asia, companies are seeking to share and integrate environmental data to meet regulatory and sustainability goals. Accurate measurement and management of GHG emissions across supply chains, particularly Scope 3, are now essential for delivering credible carbon reduction strategies.
In response, Asuene and Manufacture 2030 have entered into a strategic MoU that brings together two regional leaders. Manufacture 2030 has a strong presence in Europe and North America, while ASUENE is the leading carbon accounting platform in Japan and across Asia. By combining their capabilities, the two companies aim to accelerate decarbonization across global supply chains.
Details of the MoU
Under the MoU, both companies will integrate their respective platforms, ASUENE and Manufacture 2030, to enable seamless data connectivity between software solutions.
This integration aims to improve the accuracy of Scope 3 GHG calculations and help to increase operational efficiencies by streamlining supplier-level emissions data sharing.
As part of the collaboration, Asuene will provide consulting and customer support to Manufacture 2030 users in Asia, ensuring effective local implementation. Through its group company Carbon EX, Asuene also plans to offer Energy Attribute Certificates (EACs) to clients on the platform, expanding their decarbonization toolkit.
Additionally, Asuene will explore deployment of its energy management solution, NZero, at the facility level to support Manufacture 2030 customers to decarbonize.
Toby Newman, CEO of Manufacture 2030, commented:
Accelerating supply chain decarbonization requires collaboration and shared innovation across regions and industries.
By partnering with Asuene, we’re taking a major step forward in helping manufacturers and their suppliers access consistent, connected carbon data, enabling faster, more effective emissions reduction.
Kohei Nishiwada, Founder & CEO of Asuene, added:
With ASUENE as the No.1 GHG measurement platform in Japan and across Asia, and Manufacture 2030 trusted by major global enterprises across Europe and North America, this partnership brings together two regional leaders to define the global standard for decarbonized supply chains. Jointly, our platforms will go beyond measurement—delivering actionable, scalable solutions that enable real emissions reductions. Together, we aim to become the world’s leading decarbonization platforms for the manufacturing sector.
